AB1506 RHEUMATOLOGY TRAINING EXPERIENCE: ARE RHEUMATOLOGY RESIDENTS WELL-PREPARED NOWADAYS? A SELF-APPRAISAL

Background Rheumatology residence in Europe is a 4-year training program where Medical Doctors (MD) purchase all capacities for turning into Rheumatologists at each Hospital. European guidelines concerning which contents should be acquired and recommendations its obtaining are available (UEMS, Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes). 1 Several researches have proven high self-reported abilities, but some deficiencies displayed deepen investigations: musculoskeletal ultrasound sonography, poorly crystal identification by optic microscopy injection skills. As well, low clinical experience remains as one of the most deficiencies. 2,3 Objectives To assess quality one-year rheumatology trainee consultation outpatient clinic Spanish Methods The last year during resident hospital was assessed, from May 2021 to 2022. All patients visited were included, absent date excluded study. Regarding collagenopathies, 3.4% diagnosed systemic erythematosus lupus, 1.3% antiphospholipid syndrome, 2.3% sclerosis myopathies. Bone-related diseases Paget’s disease osteoporosis (21 132 patients). prevalent vasculitis giant cell arteritis with 51 patients, although Behçet’s disease, Takayasu artheritis polyarteritis nodosa followed.
